I love Rocky's! Real casual, hole in the wall, the prices are reasonable, friendly staff, ono food. My go to order is their corned beef hash with fried rice. The corned beef hash is so soft, like a croquette, so ono.

I recently came for breakfast before work with some of my coworkers. Rocky's is an old school local diner that serves breakfast and lunch. I think during peak times, it gets busy, but at 6:45 on a weekday, there was no wait. There's not much to speak of inside. They have several booths and counter seating. It's kinda old and grimy, but I guess that's part of the charm. I ordered a corned beef hash with rice and over easy eggs. It was simple and perfect. It came with a drink choice and I got hot chocolate lol. I think next time I want to try the fried rice. The waitresses are nice and check on customers often. Parking is street or in the back lot.

The food is always delicious and their fried rice is the best! The menu is simple but great for a quick breakfast at the counter or a sit down family meal. The service is just like being at home and the aunties know how to help. There might be a wait but it's always worth it. We visit as often as we can and never go wrong.

Decided to try Rocky's coffee shop during our visit to Oahu.. it's a little bit of a drive from Waikiki but wanted to try the Filipino sausage," longonisa".. a sweet pork sausage... it was really good , perfect breakfast combination with steam rice and over easy eggs... the Loco Nico tho was just ok... better if the patty was all beef and The gravy lacked flavor... the sausage tho was good. Would go back for that!!

This is a great hole in the wall restaurants. The food and service is always great. You feel like you are transported back into time, simple eats, for a great price. My favorite things to get are the fried rice loco moco, it isn't too big but is flavorful. However, the star of the show are the banana pancakes. They are subtly sweet and are fluffy. No need for any syrup.

I was in the area to get a safety check on my car and then started up a conversation at Midas with another customer. As my conversations always go, we started talking about places to eat and as the other fellow was an old soul like me, we started talking about our favorite local places to eat growing up. One of them was Rocky's coffee shop that has been here forevah as we say. While we were talking I decided to go stop by for old times sake and was happy I did. I felt more like I was coming home than walking into a restaurant. The team here welcomed me with a smile, checked up on me often and I was just getting a take out order. Watching the staff greet them like old friends remind me of the good old days and fills me with lots of good memories. Picked up my food and then a soon as I got home I dove into the longanisa and fried rice. Was so Ono! I am definitely going to be back and this time I'll eat in the diner. Definitely will be back!

Breakfast in Waipahu, Oahu, Hawaii... Sometimes, I'd drive past Rocky's Coffee Shop and see a crowd outside, waiting on the sidewalk, under the red pop-up tent... There's even a bench outside for those wanting to get in... Wow... Must be a good place, right? Located on the busy Waipahu Depot Road, there's free street parking and a free parking lot in front of the popular Waipahu Festival Marketplace. Be careful not to park in reserved stalls for the neighboring building. I walked into the cozy, old-school diner, looked for a worker, and signaled to her that I just needed one seat. She motioned to me to have a seat at the counter... perfect! I was fascinated by the cook at the grill. He was awesome! I watched his skills - cracking eggs open, delicately turning the Vienna sausage, making fried rice, creating banana pancakes, etc - and occasionally taking a sip of Pepsi or popping a bit of bread into his mouth! LOL! I also enjoyed his humming along to the music! I ordered Hamburger Steak plate with tossed salad (instead of macaroni salad). It came with two scoops of white rice... perfect! The three Hamburger patties were thin and tender without gristle! The aunties were friendly and chatted with regular customers. Several of them - and the cook - checked on me. Thank you for the hospitality and comfort food! It would be better for me if there was more air-conditioning, but that's minor. I appreciate the reasonable prices and Ohana Spirit!

Breakfast in Waipahu, hubs suggested. Casual atmosphere. Very local, Hawaiian music playing. Server has the sweetest voice and personality. Localest breakfast place ever The only other customer in here when we arrived came over to our table with a BIG smile and said my hair looks like shave ice, the color he chooses for his shave ice.

My husband was craving liver. The usual places we'd go for that don't serve liver anymore. Thankfully, Rocky's does! We went there after church and luckily, there wasn't the usual line. The employees are so gracious! The service was quick and the food was great! Generous portions. I love coming to Rocky's. It's a "hole in the wall" goodness. Takes you back to the good ole days!
